Maksim Shishov

Maksim is a young artist based in Arkhangelsk, Russia, where is a member of Artists Trade Union of Russia. He has been the artist-in-residence at the Shanye Dreaming Art Gallery in Qionghai, Hainan Island, China between 2018-19. During this time he has created 3 sculptures called “WE ARE THE SAME” with 6 paintings.

One of the artworks called “SAY NO TO RACISM” was a finalist in the Walter Koschatzky Art-Award in Vienna. As well as exhibiting in the Boomer Gallery, London, Maksim has had successful exhibits in the Estonian Academy of Arts & an SOLO ONLINE EXHIBITION in ALBE Art Gallery, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
